The Jason Lau Project
I have undertaken a project to make a pair of boots for Jason. This is a really exciting project because there is a really lovely pair of 1940s US riding boots that I get to use as source material. The style is a variation on an English boot called the Greenly Field Boot which compromises a derby style base of about seven to nine eyelets and culminates in a knee high leg with three buckles.
This will be a series of posts making up a kind of photo essay of the process involved.
