Roberts & Hassett designed this ‘envelope’ leather satchel for men to be more accessible than our traditional leather satchel. The front closure mechanism is designed for those who are reaching into their bags often. It is quick to use, secure and elegantly simple.

The leather satchel bag is made with Greenhalgh’s Tannery leather. There the ancient tanning process of submerging the hides for months with the bark of wattle trees is used to preserve the hides. This gives the leather far more character and is much better for the environment then modern chemical tanning. They are located in Central Victoria, Australia and are the last tannery of their kind.

This satchel has a shoulder strap and internal pocket, should fit a 15″ laptop computer and has been heat treated with nourishing wax’s and oils for extra longevity.
