It was the first time I’d tried the storm welt which comes down the side of the shoe then out. I’m fairly happy with it though. The facing under the strap is Emu leg. Anthony Delos was a big inspiration for the construction of these. Hand-dyed, thick Roo leather was used with calf linings. Punching out the brogues by hand took some time. ...
