The Jason Lau Project II
Jason picked up his boots today. I am very proud of the final product and he is very happy.
The shoes have a thick cow hide upper with kangaroo facings and linings. This style of boot was initially a type of English hunting boot and has since been adapted for both military cavalry and motorcylce use. They are handsewn to the insole and outsole, with stacked leather heels finished only with some sandpaper and a bone knife, a gusset style tongue, and countless other details. I am sad to see them go as I learnt many amazing things making these boots. Future customers beware, your shoes and boots now come with some awesome new skills.
